Bella Poarch is a Filipino born to biological Filipino parents. Her birth date was in February 9th in 1997. Her mother lived in streets until she reached three years old, when she was adopted. Her adoptive father is a white American with military experience as is her adoptive mother, who is Filipino. She said that both her and her brother who was adopted had suffered abuse since when she was just a child, until the time she joined the military. The family moved from San Francisco for a few months in order to stay with her aunt before moving to Texas when she was 13 due the need of her father to have a bypass procedure. She says the physical violence subsided within a couple of months but she was still forced to suffer from psychological abuse by her father. Poarch joined the United States Navy when she reached the age of 18. Poarch started with her TikTok account in April of 2020 and quickly became a household name and amassing over 40 million fans within less than eight months. Her videos were uploaded in a variety of formats, however the most popular was the video she made for Millie B's viral song Soph Aspin Send. The video became one of the TikTok's most popular videos. The clip zoomed in on her dancing as well as lip-syncing with the track became viral. Following her joining TikTok the site, she set up her own YouTube account as well as a Twitter one in order to boost her popularity.
